Pre-hab therapy
Prehabilitation—often called “prehab”—is proactive physical therapy designed for women who are preparing to start cancer treatment. Whether you’re scheduled for surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or all of the above, this evaluation focuses on building a strong foundation before treatment begins.
The goal of oncology prehab is to optimize your strength, mobility, and endurance, reduce the risk of long-term side effects, and help you recover more smoothly after treatment. We’ll assess your current physical status, discuss your upcoming treatment plan, and create a personalized program tailored to your needs and goals.
Benefits of prehab may include:
Improved surgical recovery and post-op mobility
Reduced risk of complications like lymphedema or cording
Better management of fatigue and physical stress during treatment
A faster return to daily activities and exercise after treatment
Empowerment and confidence heading into care
Think of prehab as giving your body a head start—it’s a powerful step you can take before treatment to support your overall healing and long-term well-being.
If you are already experiencing side effects, please book our Rehab evaluation appointment.
Oncology
rehab evaluation
This evaluation is designed for women who are experiencing side effects from cancer treatment—whether they’re currently undergoing treatment, recently completed it, or are years into survivorship.
It’s the ideal starting point for first-time patients looking to address issues related to their cancer care. During this session, we’ll take a comprehensive look at your physical function, medical history, and specific concerns. From there, we create a personalized treatment plan to support healing, restore strength, and improve quality of life.
The evaluation will be approximately 60 minutes and provide a detailed assessment addressing the whole body in order to provide a personalized treatment plan based off your needs.
Common conditions we address include:
Lymphedema
Weakness or muscle loss
Balance issues
Neuropathy
Cancer-related fatigue
Breast or chest wall edema
Axillary web syndrome (cording)
Post-mastectomy recovery
Our goal is to support you wherever you are in your journey—helping you feel stronger, more supported, and more like yourself again.
If you are newly diagnosed or just starting treatment and NOT experiencing symptoms, please book our prehab appointment.

Oncology rehabilitation can help you recover strength, manage side effects, and feel more like yourself again — during or after cancer treatment. Whether you're experiencing fatigue, pain, stiffness, lymphedema, or difficulty with daily activities, oncology rehab offers personalized support to help you regain function, confidence, and quality of life.
Our one-on-one care ensures that your treatment is tailored to your specific needs and goals. We understand what your body has been through, and we're here to help you move forward — gently, safely, and at your own pace.
-
YES! We treat women who have also undergone any pelvic cancers such as cervical, uterine, colorectal cancer, etc in addition to any other cancers. We are not limited to any certain diagnosis.

At Victory Therapy, our priority is providing you with the personalized, one-on-one care you deserve. Because of the many restrictions insurance companies place on therapy services, we do not accept insurance for our rehab sessions. This allows us to focus fully on your individual needs without compromise.
However, if you have commercial insurance, we can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for your therapy visits.
We do accept insurance for accessory products related to lymphedema care, such as bandaging supplies, compression garments, pneumatic compression pumps, and compression bras.

The number of appointments varies depending on your unique needs and goals. Our main aim is to empower you with effective at-home tools and a personalized program, so you can spend more time living your life—not in therapy sessions.
We know you already have many appointments during and after cancer treatment, and we don’t want to add more to your schedule than necessary.
At Victory Therapy, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans. Instead, we tailor your care specifically to you, which is often very different from the more standardized approach you might experience in a hospital-based clinic.
-
At our clinic, we provide one-on-one oncology rehabilitation, which means your care is focused entirely on you — your needs, your pace, and your goals. Unlike many hospital-based rehab settings, where therapists may juggle multiple patients at once, your session here is private, uninterrupted, and personalized from start to finish. We see and treat the whole woman, not just the diagnosis. Your emotional well-being is just as important as your physical recovery.
You’ve been through enough — your rehabilitation experience shouldn’t feel like just another appointment. Here, it’s about healing on your terms, with someone who’s walking beside you every step of the way.
